The Rapido Saga

A few days before going on holiday, Mr Constant ROUSSEAU built an extendable trailer for his personal use that had a hard roof to which he attached a canvas structure. This first folding caravan was such a success on the camp sites that he took away several orders.
The "RAPIDO" brand was born.
The Distribution Network began to develop and so throughout these years sales continued to grow, but stayed within the French borders.

A Swiss man discovered and was amazed by the ingenuity and clever features that went into the RAPIDO caravans. An agreement was signed and the first caravans left metropolitan France. This lead Mr ROUSSEAU to consider the many outlets the foreign markets could open up.

RAPIDO's success very quickly grew and became international. Germany, Belgium, Holland, Great Britain and other countries discovered the brand through trade shows and became interested in this "new folding caravan", which had already been in production for several years, however.
