An incomparable line of furniture

Whether it is the "Tradition" range of the Series 7 and 9 or the "Elegance" range on the other Series, the RAPIDO furniture holds its top-of-the-range reputation for the painstaking detail of its lovingly cared-for finishes and the use of solid maple on the main components, recalling the make’s creator’s first job as a cabinetmaker.

As you will have noted, the Series 70+ and 9M are fitted with “Elegance” furniture in warm and highly colourful “Indian Summer” maple wood colour. Where does this term “Indian Summer” come from? It is a region of the world, Canada, which supplies our maple, and provides a very colourful late season at the end of September. The forests clothe themselves in magnificent orangey red colours... This period is very often accompanied by exceptional brightness and a return of the heat. This warm period perfectly describes the sensation and emotions triggered by the new Elegance furniture “Indian Summer” colour.

ALDE heating system

Tested by us in the Scandinavian countries and developed in collaboration with the ALDE team, RAPIDO offers a new mode of heating, which provides heat harmoniously distributed throughout the living area, creating a genuine sense of well-being. It consists of a central heating unit comprising a gas boiler and a heat exchanger. The boiler heats a liquid composed of 60% water and 40% glycol. The water/glycol mixture circulates in the system through the pipes and the convectors by means of a 12V circulation pump.

The convectors, placed along the exterior walls, heat the air, which rises, heating the furniture units and partitions. Because warm air rises, a barrier of air is formed, which insulates the windows from the cold. The temperature inside the living area is regulated by means of an air thermostat:

Heated Floor

A composite film providing gentle floor heating and therefore further increased comfort.

Insulating cold-weather cladding

Soplair Isothermic protection developed with RAPIDO, ensures maximum protection both Summer and Winter.
It efficiently combats the thermal exchanges in the vehicle and the formation of condensation on the windshield.

Reversing camera

The whole RAPIDO range has the advantage of a reversing camera (except for Series 7 and 9, where it is an option, pre-wired as standard).
The camera is connected to a screen with built-in speaker, built into the dash board. The driver can therefore hear the instructions being given by someone behind the vehicle! Manoeuvring has never been so easy!

Modular seats

To comply with our customers’ wishes, Rapido has developed new bench seats with modular seats.

From the “Living room” position around the table, you can reconfigure the seats so that they can be used facing the road with a seat belt during a trip.

A set of sliding or opening panels makes it easy for you to modify your bench seat to your requirements.

Car radio

The Series 7 and 9 are fitted with PIONEER car radios as standard..

• The rest of the range is fitted as standard with PIONEER Multimedia 2 DIN AVH-P3100DVD units. This hi-tech product is built in to the dashboard and fitted with a high-definition LCD 2 DIN colour screen with a 5.8” (14.7cm) LCD screen and touch screen user interface.

This enable you to :

• play DVDs via its “DVD player” function,
• listen to the radio, RDS AM/FM tuner,
• listen to your own selection of music via its IPOD or MP3 connection via USB or SD Card.

• USB port on the front,
• Reversing camera input.

Navigation + DVD player

Offered as an option across the range, the Pioneer AVIC-F900BT navigation system enables you, through a single colour screen built- into the dashboard, to:

• Follow your route through the European roads; with the SD card (supplied), you have all the maps of Europe and all the service areas in Europe,
• Enjoy a rear view when manoeuvring thanks to the reversing camera,
• Play DVDs via its “DVD player” function,
• Listen to the radio,
• Listen to your own selection of music by connecting it to an IPOD or MP3 player by means of an USB or SD card

Fuel cell

Have all the power you need, wherever you are. The fuel cell is a power source located upstream of the battery. It constantly monitors the status of the battery charge and automatically starts to recharge it as soon as the charge falls below a given threshold. Once the battery has been recharged, the fuel cell automatically returns to standby mode. You no longer need to keep an eye on the battery voltage indicator.

The model offered by RAPIDO is the EFOY 1600. No mechanical parts are involved in converting the liquid fuel (methanol) to electrical power, which provides silent operation. Your distributor can provide you with the supply of methanol.

The fuel cell is offered :

• As standard on the 9MH and 9009dFH series,
• As an option, on the 70+ and 9M Series (pre-cabled as standard).

Safety pack

This alarm, specifically developed to provide real peace of mind, is activated from the remote control for opening and locking the vehicle.

Contents :

• Volumetric hyper frequency alarm,
• Perimeter alarm,
• Gas detector (Chloroform, Ether, Ethane, Butane, Propane).

Symphonie audio pack*

Experience your emotions to the full while listening to your preferred music with XXL acoustic comfort. This pack consists of:

• 1 Pioneer subwoofer, combining together a cast aluminium heat sink, a woofer with an oval aluminium cone and a built-in 150W amplifier, providing very powerful bass. It also contains a cabled remote control for refining your settings,
• 2 additional speakers in the living room,
• And a further two speakers in the bedroom.

The sound is therefore harmoniously distributed throughout the living area and provides true listening quality.

Double pre-cabling for DVD player

RAPIDO keeps pace with innovation. Nowadays, some sophisticated car radios* can play DVD films ; RAPIDO has run an audio/video cable from the dashboard to the TV set especially for this purpose. A second audio/video cable allows to connect a DVD player near the TV cupboard.
