GEL COAT: Reinforced protection

For some years now, RAPIDO has been using a “high-tech” gel-coat material, which protects your motor home’s bodywork from climate damage, and especially UV. The quality of this white resin (gel-coat) is essential. It gives your camping-car its long life, its watertightnes and its brilliant look.

POLYGLACE® POLYESTER: Unequalled brilliance

The Polyglace® polyester which clads the panels of RAPIDO camping-cars (Series 7FF/70dF/S9/90dFH/S9M/S10) results from an exclusive technique. Its manual manufacturing process guarantees a perfectly smooth bodywork appearance of unequalled brilliance. This quality results from a greater thickness of resin.

ALU-FIBER® : : Available only for the Serie 70+ and 9MH

RAPIDO is expanding its technological choices by offering Alu-fiber®. This technology is based on our know-how in polyester materials and creates an innovation by adding a sheet of aluminium affixed to a polyester coating. Alu-fiber® combines the qualities:

• of polyester, with its capability of withstanding impacts,
• of aluminium, which represents an excellent supporting medium for metallic paint, which lends depth to the particular hue.

Alu-fiber® is a variation in style for the RAPIDO range, a new aesthetic, in the purest traditions of RAPIDO quality.

Polyester Panels in the bodywork structure: Increased strength

• Panels coated with polyester possess good resistance to the impact of hail, scratching by branches and other small impacts. They are easy to repair.
• All the roofs in the RAPIDO range are designed with a polyester roof, which provides perfect resistance thanks to its absorption properties when hail is falling.

Sealing

Most of the range is fitted with a roof covering all edges to ensure perfect water-tightness.

Each vehicle, as it leaves the production line, passes through a water jet tunnel to test the water-tightness of the openings.
